Stacy Esser is a distinguished REALTOR® based in Tenafly, New Jersey. Stacy has been providing her excellent marketing, merchandising, staging, negotiation, and consulting services to sellers and buyers of residential property in Bergen County for the last eight years.

She currently leads the Stacy Esser Group at Keller Williams Town Life, where she serves clients in: Alpine, Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Edgewater, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Fort Lee, Harrington Park, Haworth, Norwood, Old Tappan, and Tenafly.

As she tells it, Stacy’s career in real estate started when she decided to use her sales and professional experience to change people’s lives:

I felt that becoming an expert in this arena meant my skill set could ultimately help families accomplish their goals, because I understand that buying a home could very well be the biggest investment someone makes in their life and the largest asset someone may own. Buying a home is more than just dollars and cents; it’s about lifestyle. Selling a home requires more than simply placing a sign on the lawn and placing in the MLS. It’s my responsibility to be professional and competent when my clients are entrusting me with such a huge task.

Before entering the real estate world, Stacy spent seventeen years in the fashion industry as Director and President of Sales, running sales teams across the country who sold to both small stores and large retailers. As such, she recognizes the power of merchandising as it relates to buying and selling a home, which prompted her to become a Certified Staging Professional and ultimately be accepted to the Luxury Institute of Home Marketing.

In 2013, Stacy founded Time to Stage and Staged to Live—staging companies which provide complementary services to all her clients. The companies were founded on the core philosophy that, while her clients might not have the power to change the size or location of their home, they do have the power to change how potential buyers feel about the space itself. She prioritizes educating clients on the power of staging their homes elegantly, no matter what kind of space it is.

Today, Stacy prides herself on being a top agent in one of the most competitive markets in the United States. With its views of the New York City Skyline, Bergen County offers residents all of the perks of city life, while maintaining the comfort of living in a suburban area.

Beyond her passion and knowledge, Stacy’s has gained clients for life with her her commitment to always placing her clients’ needs before her own, offering impartial advice, assisting customers to understand the market and the options in front of them, and engaging them long after they have finished their transactions to ensure all their needs are met. In fact, as of this year 80% of her business is referral-based.

As a leader in her field, Stacy couples this unique management strategy with the use of cutting-edge technology. To stay ahead of the curve, she keeps herself abreast of prevailing technology trends in real estate.

Most recently, I started using virtual staging for both vacant and non-vacant homes. Facebook continues to amaze us with its powerful reach, and as it launches new features, I like to figure out how they can help sell my homes and reach more potential buyers. Live streaming is really picking up steam for my team—we will live stream from our open houses or even when we are door knocking. I have also been using drones on my marketing platform for a few years now, as well as 3D tours with Oculus capabilities. By using these tools, we can engage and interact with a large audience in real time.

When Stacy is not working, she is active in giving back to her local community. She volunteers with organizations such as the Tenafly Building Improvement District, and has insider access to and knowledge of the community. As a current board member of the Temple Sinai, she has spearheaded many community programs: most recently, she helped launch the “Love Yourself” series, which centered around awareness for women’s health and raised money for a local women’s charity called the Women’s Rights Organization. She also donates a percentage of each sale to KW Cares, and she and her team hold an annual pie giveaway and food drive benefiting The Center for Food Action.

With nearly a decade of real estate experience, Stacy envisions a bright future ahead. Her plans include building a team of highly successful team members and bringing her sales volume from $55 million to $100 million. Her team’s level of success is a testament to their professionalism and drive, and Stacy is immensely proud of that.

Utilizing her more than 10 years of experience as a media strategist representing global brands including HBO, Pepsi and Visa, she specialized in making connections between consumer goods and buyers.

As a Bergen County native, her love and knowledge for the area makes her particularly adept at finding the right match for both buyers and sellers. She understands the importance that a strong public school system brings to a community. Both in New York City and in Tenafly, she dedicated her time to help keep the public schools her children attended strong.

Alisa manages all staging and house preparation services for The Stacy Esser Group. Alisa is passionate about helping sellers prepare their homes for market-ready condition, in order to achieve the highest sale price in the shortest amount of time. A graduate of Fordham University with an MSW degree, Alisa worked in retail and fashion for over 15 years where she gained a strong sense of style and design. She collaborates, listens and cares about her client’s needs. Alisa has achieved tremendous success in staging homes and has proven results with a strong reputation. She treats every client’s home uniquely and is not afraid to think outside the box for new situations. Her clients appreciate her attention to detail, exceptional organization skills and assistance through what can be an overwhelming process. Alisa brings an unparalleled perspective to staging her clients’ homes because she understands the marketplace and can anticipate a potential buyers expectations.
